TRAINING AND
CERTIFICATION
Pilates Precision is privileged to be
associated with the Pilates International Training Centre, which is
based in Sydney, Australia. Elena Philp mentors for PITC and students
undertake their apprentice hours under her guidance and supervision.
Pilates International produces and
presents extensive high quality training programs in Australasia and
England. The array of training approaches on offer by other institutes
can be bewildering to the prospective student. PITC offers
traditional Pilates with a contemporary approach.
The student is trained in the Mat,
Reformer, Cadillac (Trap table), Wunda/Combo chair, Ladder barrel,
Spine corrector and Ped-o-pull from basic to intermediate level.
Training also includes small apparatus such as rollers, Magic circle,
theraband and ball work. Pregnancy, geriatrics, children and elite sports
specific education is also covered.

The course is extensive, thorough and
rigorous and successful graduates emerge with the ability and
qualifications to work with low risk client groups. Its myriad
applications enhance the graduate’s particular field whether it is in
fitness, dance or a clinical profession.
The course and training organization is
VETAB (Vocational Education and Training Authorities Board)
accredited and is a fully approved educational facility with the
Pilates Alliance Australasia and the Pilates Method Alliance (USA.)
